Please join OVWA and Jeannette Adkins, M. Ed., LPC, CA, NACP® Chair and Board Member of the National Organization for Victim Assistance (NOVA), and S. Priya Rednam Waldo LMSW, MPH MSW Director, National Advocacy Leadership Center (NALC), National Organization for Victim Assistance for Ethics in Victim Advocacy. This webinar will introduce ethical standards for victim advocates as outlined in the National Advocate Credentialing Program (NACP)® Code of Ethics, as well as introduce attendees to the new NOVA Office for Advocacy Ethics. Participants will discuss ethical dilemmas including boundaries, dual relationships and confidentiality. This important webinar is one of three webinars offered each year to both members and non-members. OVWA believes that every advocate should have the opportunity to learn more about ethics in our work with crime victims and within our organizations. All 2021 trainings will be held virtually through Zoom until further notice.
