Join OVWA and Micaela Deming, Policy Director and Staff Attorney, Ohio Domestic Violence Network to discuss Ohio's domestic violence fatality data, released by ODVN each October. We will review the data, compare it to prior years, and look at the trends observed. Advocates and prosecutors may serve these families before the fatal incident and help the survivors after tragedy. We will explore how to be better prepared to assist both adult and minor clients experiencing domestic violence to enhance safety while involved in the criminal justice system. PLease note: This is not a CEU preapproved training. Please note that certificates will be sent only upon completion of the training survey which is automatically generated when the training ends. The survey must include your name for a certificate to be issued.
