Please join OVWA and the Columbus Stalking Unit for an overview of Stalking, effective advocacy and investigation skills. Stalking is largely misunderstood within systems and can be an overwhelming crime to endure while the reporting and prosecution can be frustrating and very difficult for survivors to experience. Stalking can be a long-term cumulative traumatic experience and lack of understanding can increase the level of frustration for both survivors and advocates. This training will offer an overview of stalking and best practices in supporting and advocating for stalking survivors. If you are already an OVWA member, please log in with your username and password and you will see the Register Now button. Not yet a member but would like to attend this training? Visit our Become a Member page to see the many levels of membership offered. This webinar is pre-approved for 1.5 CEU's from the State of Ohio CSWMFTB and OVWA training programs are pre-approved through both the Ohio Advocate Network and the National Advocate Credentialing Program. If you require accommodations, please email us at no later than one week prior to the webinar.
