SUMMARY:OVWA Webinar Wednesday: The Intersection of Stalking\, Technology\, and Digital Abuse
DESCRIPTION:Technology is evolving at a rapid pace\, and while it brings innovation and connection\, it also creates new avenues for harm. Stalking and digital abuse increasingly exploit modern tools\, leaving victims vulnerable in ways that are complex and difficult to address. This training will deepen attendees’ understanding of how technology intersects with victimization and how collaborative approaches can improve outcomes. By the end of the webinar\, participants will be able to understand current technology trends and how they shape both opportunities and risks\, recognize how technology is misused to stalk\, monitor\, and abuse victims\, and explore collaborative strategies to strengthen advocacy\, enhance safety planning\, and achieve better outcomes for survivors. \nPresenter(s): Sergeant Denise Jones\, Clark County Sheriff’s Office \n  \n\nThis training is applicable for CEUs from OAN\, NACP\, and preapproved for counselors\, social workers\, and marriage & family therapists through the State of Ohio CSWMFT Board. If you need accommodations to attend this training\, please email us at info@ovwa.org at least one week before the webinar date.
