SUMMARY:ODVN - Tuesday@2: Improving Safety Outcomes and DV Intervention through a Coordinated Community Response
DESCRIPTION:Hosted by the Ohio Domestic Violence Network\nThis training will explore the best practices for a coordinated community response team (CCRT) and the role that CCRTs can play in holding offenders accountable and promoting safety for survivors. Participants will learn from staff at domestic violence member programs who are part of CCRTs in their communities\, as well as about the coordinated services they oversee such as Battering Intervention Programs (BIP)\, legal advocacy\, and Domestic Violence Enhance Response Team (DVERT). Each panelist will discuss the role they place as part of their CCRT\, the important community partners to invite to the table\, and important considerations relating to confidentiality\, cooperation\, and navigating conflict. Participants will be hear about ways to tailor and implement CCRTs within various community settings\, as well as explore strategies to create collaboration in ways that support safety of survivors and their families. \nCost: Free \nRegistration ends August 13\, 2026.  \nThis event is offered by the Ohio Domestic Violence Network.
