DESCRIPTION:The BEACON Advocacy Institute is a no-cost\, 40-hour foundational training for victim advocates. Designed primarily for advocates with two years or less experience\, BEACON provides essential knowledge and skills in trauma-informed advocacy\, crisis response\, victim rights\, the criminal justice system\, and more. \n\nThe program includes online pre-learning\, three days of virtual instruction\, and two in-person training days. \nNovember 2-6\, 2026 \nMon & Friday: in-person (Dublin/Columbus area) | Tue-Thu: live virtual sessions | 8:00 am – 5:00 pm every day \nSpace is limited!
