SUMMARY:OVWA Quarterly Member Training: Connecting Across Generations: Tools for Effective Leadership and Teamwork
DESCRIPTION:Navigating generational differences in the workplace is both a challenge and an opportunity\, especially when we rely on collaboration\, communication\, and shared values to support survivors. This training will provide an overview of distinct generational similarities and differences\, and how these can be utilized in a trauma-informed manner to best support advocacy teams. Participants will gain insight into how generational identity influences communication styles\, approaches to teamwork\, and attitudes toward change.  We will highlight strategies for fostering mutual respect\, bridging gaps\, and leveraging generational diversity to strengthen advocacy and service delivery.
