OVWA Launches New On-Demand Learning System for Members

Today, the Ohio Victim Witness Association (OVWA) unveiled its new online learning system, giving members their first look during the Quarterly Member Meeting. While OVWA has long provided recorded trainings for later viewing, this launch marks a significant advancement: for the first time, members can now earn continuing education (CE/CEU) credits on-demand by completing archived webinars and a brief knowledge check.

This highly anticipated feature responds directly to longstanding requests from OVWA members and reflects the organization’s ongoing commitment to accessibility, flexibility, and professional excellence in victim advocacy.

OVWA will continue to offer its high-quality live webinars, while the new learning system expands opportunities for advocates to engage in training on their own schedules—ensuring valuable content remains accessible well beyond its original presentation.

The initial catalog includes more than 20 trainings, with additional content to be added on an ongoing basis. OVWA extends its appreciation to the staff who developed the system and to the members who helped test and refine it.

Members can access the new on-demand trainings by logging into their OVWA accounts.
