OVWA has a Membership Level for Everyone
All persons and organizations that subscribe to OVWA’s mission are eligible to become OVWA members. There are three levels of membership: Individual, Student, and Organizational.

For over 44 years, OVWA has been a leader in promoting crime victim rights, offering professional educational opportunities, providing technical assistance, developing best practices, and influencing public policy. We believe that collaborative efforts with service partners of all disciplines is necessary to achieve equitable services for ALL victims/survivors of crime.
Our membership is comprised of over 500 advocates and allied professionals of all disciplines, backgrounds, and specialties! As we continue our work, we are proud to represent each and every member in our efforts, both locally, and at the state and federal levels.
Why Should You Become a Member of OVWA?
- Continuing education opportunities that support advocate credentials through the Ohio Advocate Network (OAN) and the National Advocate Credentialing Program (NACP)
- OVWA is an approved CEU provider through the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Work, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board
