OCVJC – Brown County Marsy’s Law Victims’ Rights Training

Ohio Crime Victim Justice Center in partnership with Asian Services in Action is pleased to offer this in depth victims’ rights training This training will cover victims’ rights in every stage of the criminal justice process including the hospital investigation prosecution and post-conviction This training will focus on the new rights for victims created by the Marsy’s Law constitutional amendment in 2018 as well as any case law or implementing legislation related to Marsy’s Law In addition this training will cover basic need-to-know information for victims about other legal topics such as Title IX protection orders and a special focus on immigration issues facing crime victims
