OCVJC – VICTIMS’ RIGHTS TRAINING

The Ohio Crime Victim Justice Center offers free cross-disciplinary victims’ rights training throughout Ohio These trainings serve to provide the education and tools necessary to protect victims’ rights at each stage of the criminal justice process focusing on new rights under Marsy’s Law OCVJC hopes to bring together varying perspectives within a county or region to begin a conversation on victims’ rights Judge Pat Carroll from Lakewood Municipal Court plans to join the October and November trainings to discuss victims rights’ issues from the judicial perspective 35 CLE and 375 CEU credits available
