ODVN – Be a Revolutionary: Practical Strategies for Systemic Change

Participants will discover their journey towards a future rooted in justice, resilience, and transformative hope. This training will feature a keynote presentation from tai simpson, Co-Stewarding Executive Director at the Idaho Coalition Against Sexual and Domestic Violence and founder of the Indigenous Idaho Alliance, as well as a panel of leaders from the anti-violence field. The keynote presentation “calls for a radical reimagining of anti-violence spaces through the potent fusion of social justice and futuristic perspectives”.

Participants will gain tools to:

–Reimagine revolutionary practices within anti-violence coalitions,

–Discover practical strategies for embedding compassion-driven innovation and meaningful change across communities and organizations,

–Cultivate pathways for empathy and empowerment through storytelling.

Importantly, this session delves into the legacy of community organizing by honoring the communities at the forefront, including survivors from underserved communities.

This training is designed for new and seasoned advocates.
