ODVN – Exploring Restorative Justice for Survivors of Sexual Harm, Intimate Partner Violence, and Domestic Violence

In this training, participants will learn the difference between the criminal legal system and restorative justice, reflect on their current understanding of restorative justice, and unpack the myths they hold about restorative justice. They will get a better understanding of why survivors of domestic violence might seek justice outside the criminal legal system, hear a survivor’s experience with restorative justice, and will co-imagine possibilities for incorporating restorative justice values in their existing work.

This training will center audience participation and discussion, so come prepared to engage with your cameras on and mics unmuted.

Cost: Free for ODVN members; $50 for non-members
