Incorporating Health Advocacy into Accessible Programming |
| Join staff from ODVN’s Health Access Project to learn more about the intersections of health care and victim advocacy for domestic violence survivors. This training will focus on identifying the purpose behind including health advocacy into victim advocacy efforts, understanding the social determinants of health and how they impact the services provided by domestic violence programs and advocates. Participants will learn how to incorporate conversations about health needs into their work and ensure that services are accessible for individuals with higher barrier health concerns.
This training is intended for direct services advocates and supervisors at domestic violence or dual programs. |
| Cost: Free for ODVN Members (ODVN Member Program or Individual/Organizational Membership); $25 for Non-ODVN Members.
