ODVN – Reproductive Health & Supporting Safety for Pregnant Survivors

Join ODVN and the Ohio Alliance to End Sexual Violence for this important training session, free and open to anyone! Under the large spectrum of power and control behaviors that are discussed within the anti-violence field, reproductive coercion isn’t discussed as frequently. Some of that may be due to our own experience or values with comprehensive sexuality education. In this training, we will discuss some of the key components around healthy sexuality education, discuss the various tactics people use to control their partner’s sexual health and autonomy, and outline ways that staff can effectively screen and respond to signs of reproductive coercion or support survivors who are pregnant.
