Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the state bills HB 187, S.B. 100, and H.B. 111, alongside federal bills such as the Safer Homes and Families Act and the Crime Victims Fund Stabilization Act. Discover how these legislative changes could directly impact your services to domestic violence survivors. By delving into the mechanisms of policy formation, including how a bill becomes law in Ohio, participants will be able to shape impactful advocacy efforts at national, state, and local levels.
