Ohio Attorney General – Elder Abuse Awareness Day Conference

Dollars and Sense: Financial Exploitation of Older Adults

The Elder Abuse Awareness Day Conference is among various events and activities presented annually by the Ohio Attorney General’s Elder Abuse Commission to increase awareness, detection and prevention of elder abuse statewide.

The conference, which commemorates Ohio Elder Abuse Awareness Day, is geared toward Adult Protective Service workers, prosecutors and law enforcement officers who serve older Ohioans in support of a safe and just Ohio for all. The Elder Abuse Commission works to identify best practices, advocates for laws and policies to better protect older Ohioans, shares expertise and promotes research to advance its mission.

This year’s conference is presented with help from the Ohio Coalition for Adult Protective Services.

Location: The Sharonville Convention Center near Cincinnati

Cost: $40 per person

The registration deadline is June 7.
