From Collection to Conviction: A Comprehensive Response to Sexual Violence
This training event will take participants through the life of a sexual assault forensic kit, from reporting and collection at the hospital, through law enforcement investigations, to prosecution of sex violence crimes.
- Day 1, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm: sexual violence, hospital response, and forensic collection
- Day 2, 8:30 am – 4:00 pm: trauma and law enforcement investigations
- Day 3, 8:30 am – 12:00 pm: insight into investigations; overview of victims rights and SARTs/CCRTs
