ODVN – Advocacy Skills Workshop: How Advocates Demonstrate the Skill of Empathy

This interactive workshop is designed to strengthen empathy skills. You will explore the emotional and psychological experiences of survivors, practice active listening and empathetic communication, and reflect on personal biases that may impact professional interactions. Through roleplay statements and guided discussions, attendees will develop practical strategies to provide compassionate, trauma-informed support while maintaining their own emotional resilience.
Cost: Free for ODVN members ; $20 for non-members
