ODVN – Bridging the Gap: Supporting National Guard Survivors of DVSAS Across Military and Civilian Systems

This training will identify unique challenges National Guard members and their families face in accessing consistent support services for DVSAS. It will examine the impact of military culture, rural environments, and intersecting identities on National Guard survivors’ vulnerability to DVSAS and their access to resources. Attendees will also understand how the Coordinated Community Response (CCR) model can be applied to enhance collaboration between military and civilian systems, providing effective support for National Guard survivors of DVSAS.
