ODVN – Strengthening Awareness, Prevention, and Responses for Domestic Violence Fatalities

Domestic violence fatalities send ripple effects through families, communities, and programs, and these deaths are both devastating and preventable. This training offers a deeper dive into ODVN’s latest domestic violence fatality report, examining key trends, lethality factors, and patterns identified across recently reviewed cases. Participants will learn how to apply these findings to strengthen safety planning and risk conversations with survivors in their own practice. The training also covers strategies for engaging community partners, planning coordinated responses, and knowing when and how to activate ODVN’s Crisis, Loss, and Response Team after a fatality.

Cost: Free for ODVN members; $25 for non-members
