National Center for Victims of Crime
The National Center for Victims of Crime is a nonprofit organization that advocates for
victims’ rights, trains professionals who work with victims, and serves as a trusted source

National Crime Victim’s Research and Treatment Center
The National Crime Victim’s Research and Treatment Center works towards the
advancement of scientific and public understanding of the scope, nature, and mental

through research, education, prevention, treatment, public policy consultation, and

National Mass Violence Resource Center
The NMVVRC advances understanding of the scope, nature, and mental health impact of exposure to mass violent crimes through ongoing research into best practices nationwide. By collecting information about the impact of these crimes from victims and survivors, families, first responders, law enforcement, professionals, and civic leaders, we identify what has worked for them and what can be recommended as best practices to state and local authorities. CASA volunteers are community members of all walks of life. After comprehensive training, volunteers are appointed by a judge to advocate for children who experience abuse and neglect. Ohio Crime Prevention Association (OCPA)
Ohio Crime Prevention Association (OCPA) is the nation’s largest state crime prevention
association, with a diverse membership representing law enforcement agencies,
government offices, businesses, the faith community and resident groups. As the
Professional Voice of Crime Prevention in Ohio, OCPA is a clearinghouse for state and

Ohio Crisis Response Team (OCRT)
The Ohio Crisis Response Team (OCRT) is a group of NOVA (National Organization for

Ohio Family Violence Prevention Center (FVPC)
The Office of Criminal Justice Services Ohio Family Violence Prevention Center serves as
an information clearinghouse for public and private organizations aiding victims. The
Center also offers a variety of services including victim advocacy, resources and
referrals, workshops, presentations, and research on family violence and its impact on

Ohio Department of Youth Services – Office of Victim Services
The Ohio Department of Youth Services Office of Victim Services is responsible for
ensuring that the victims of juvenile crime have input into and information about the
release and discharge of the youthful offender. The office provides a variety of statutory

Ohio Network of Children’s Advocacy Centers (ONCAC)
ONCAC’s mission is to promote the establishment and success of Multidisciplinary Teams and Children’s Advocacy Centers (CACs) throughout the state of Ohio.
