The mission of the Ohio Homicide Co-Victims Helpline is to provide trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and emotionally supportive assistance to homicide co-victims by offering compassionate listening, crisis response, and connection to local resources. We are committed to honoring each person’s unique experience, promoting healing and safety, and ensuring that no one faces the impact of homicide alone.
What to Expect?
After calling or texting the Helpline, you will be connected with a trained advocate and crisis responder who has experience supporting people who have lost a loved one to homicide.
This confidential, survivor-led helpline is guided by your needs, concerns, and questions. You decide what you would like to talk about and what kind of support feels right for you.
When you are ready, the advocate can help connect you with local resources and services that fit your unique situation. Support is available at any time, whether the loss happened recently or weeks, months, or even years ago.
